Dear ,

This is one of my favorite times of the year. The leaves are just starting to change and the salmon are swimming upstream in the Cedar River next to our offices. It's also a great time of activity, planning, and excitement in the KCSARC offices as we look toward the upcoming year and all that we hope to accomplish. The Board of Directors just held their annual retreat and the staff are busy building budgets to support our programmatic goals for the next year. Your partnership means more to us now than ever. We have ambitious goals to increase and improve services throughout the next couple of years and hope that you will continue with us in our journey to end the silence around sexual assault!

Sincerely,
Mary Ellen Stone
Executive Director

MediaHave questions about sex offenders in your community? Get answers from the experts.

Most of us don't know what to do when we discover there are sex offenders living in our neighborhoods or near our workplaces. But, there are practical steps we can all take to make our families, friends, and colleagues safer.

KCSARC is a key member of the Smart and Safe Awareness Action Team of the Sex Offender Management Team in King County. The Action Team offers free, 90-minute sessions where a panel of experts, including leaders from law enforcement, corrections, sex offender treatment, and victim advocacy will offer:

  • Proven prevention tips you can implement immediately.
  • An overview of the coordinated, multidisciplinary system for managing sex offenders in our communities.
